How to take Ferrous Sulphate 19mg & Folic Acid 300mcg
- Always follow the doctor’s prescriptions and do not take any medicine on your own.
- Read the label of the medicine carefully and make sure to follow the instructions.
- Before taking the liquid suspension form of this medication, shake the bottle well every time you take a dose of it. Because Suspensions may settle down over time, so a shake is necessary to re-mix them properly. Whereas, Solutions and colloids do not settle at the bottom.
- Measure the quantity of the liquid medicine carefully using a special measuring cup/spoon. Do not use any random spoon because you will end up taking the incorrect quantity of the medication.
- Mix the amount well in a glass of water or juice, and drink the mixture.
- If the liquid drops or suspension is given to an infant or child, make sure you use the dropper provided with the product to carefully measure the dose.
- The dose can be directly in the mouth (along the back of your child’s tongue) or mixed in (not milk) with formula, fruit juice, cereal, or other food according to your child’s needs.
